As a young child, Jackson always had a passion for helping people. She was an athlete in high school and became interested in nutrition and exercise science. This ultimately led her to her pursuit of a degree in Naturopathic Medicine, where she discovered nutrition and the benefits of juice fasting and raw food diets.
In 2001, Jackson received a bachelor's degree with an independent concentration in Naturopathic Medicine from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. In 2005, she received her Doctorate from The Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona. This four-year federally accredited program provided her with extensive training and expertise in nutrition, herbs, environmental medicine, mind/body medicine and health counseling. In addition, Jackson became a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance in 2006.
After graduating from Naturopathic Medical School, Jackson moved to Charleston, South Carolina and worked for Wellness Watchers, LLC ~ a whole food nutritional product company. She traveled around the United States to health conventions and seminars, promoting health and wellness.
In 2008, Jackson completed a one-year Environmental Medicine internship under Allan Lieberman, MD and Timothy Callaghan, MD at The Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine (COEM) in North Charleston, SC.
At the Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine, Jackson was the director of the Center for Women's Health and Autism Outreach Clinic . During her internship, Jackson became an expert in women's health, weight loss and treating children on the autistic spectrum through specific diets and biomedical treatments. During her training she realized how toxic and nutritionally deficient patients and children on the autistic spectrum were. For this reason, she teamed up with Great Plains Laboratory and New Beginning Nutritionals in Lenexa, Kansas. Tiffany travels part-time around the United States to health conventions and physician trainings to educate doctors on the benefits of using comprehensive lab testing and optimal nutrition to treat patients and children on the autistic spectrum.
In May 2008, Jackson manifested her dream of opening her own private wellness practice specializing in natural weight loss, autism and chronic disease. In addition to her Naturopathic training, Jackson's internship experience at The Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine taught her that a combination of nutrient deficiencies and our toxic environment are the cause many of today's diseases. As a result, Jackson opened EcoHealth & Wellness, LLC ~ a resource for individuals interested in discovering a healthier way to live.
Jackson has teamed up with Lyn Tally, CYT to offer corporate wellness programs and Dr. Patrick Lovegrove at Lovegrove Health Solutions in Mount Pleasant, SC to offer individualized natural health consulting and corporate wellness programs. .
